About Dr. B
Through a series of meaningful and “synchronous” moments, Amanda discovered that her path was guiding her toward supporting women moving through deep emotional trauma, grief, and life transitions. What began as clinical work in her private practice quickly grew into a calling — a clear pull to help women find themselves again, reclaim their power, and feel held by community.
Already a Spin Instructor for five years, Amanda understood the healing force of movement and community wellness. That understanding eventually led her to Yoga, where she found peace, serenity, friendship, and spiritual awakening woven together through the practice, meditation, and sound healing. It became her “home away from home” — the place where her vision for women’s wellness workshops truly came alive.
At local wellness businesses, Amanda began collaborating on programs designed to enlighten, empower, and heal women within a supportive, trusting space that feels like a sisterhood from the moment you walk in. Her passion for helping women reclaim their inner light now extends across her clinical practice, her yoga classes, and her wellness offerings.
Amanda’s approach is enthusiastic, warm, and inviting. She asks each person to show up exactly as they are — their truest, most authentic self. Her goal is to help individuals build kinship and connection through shared experience, breath, and mindful presence.
Clinical Treatment Modalities:
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
• Prolonged Exposure (PE)
Additional Tools:
• Breathwork and mindfulness practices
•Restorative Yoga
This integrative approach creates a holistic path to healing, grounded in both science and spirit. Amanda believes that connection — to ourselves, to one another, and to something greater — is the true catalyst for healing, growth, and reclaiming our authentic, unapologetic selves.
Amanda’s greatest passion is creating spaces where people feel safe enough to show up fully, supported enough to soften, and empowered enough to grow. Whether in a therapy session, a yoga class, or a wellness workshop, her intention is always the same: to help others come home to themselves.
