Yoga Services

My love for yoga began in my early twenties, during a time when life felt both overwhelming and uncertain. I was in graduate school pursuing my PhD, navigating the intensity of academic demands while also moving through the emotional landscape of divorce. Yoga became the one place where my breath met my body, where I could settle my nervous system long enough to feel grounded again. The mat offered a sense of home when everything else felt unstable, and it taught me how to listen inward when the world around me was loud. Over the years, I carried that appreciation with me, even as my wellness journey expanded into other forms of movement. For five years, I taught indoor cycling, discovering the power of music, rhythm, and community to move people through struggle and into joy. I loved the energy, the sweat, and the way the room came alive together. But as I entered my forties, something deeper began calling me back — a need not just for intensity, but for healing, quiet, and grounding. My body and my spirit asked for a softer kind of strength, a space where I could reconnect rather than push through. Yoga returned to me in a new way, not as escape, but as refuge. It became the practice that helped me land in myself again, offering presence rather than performance. On the mat, I learned how to soften, how to breathe into the tender places, and how to let my body guide me toward what it needed most. Yoga has walked with me through stress, change, loss, and renewal, and it continues to be the anchor that grounds me in every season of my life.

Earning my 200‑hour Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Certification deepened my own practice and opened the door for me to guide others through meaningful movement and breath. It gave me a fuller understanding of yoga’s physical, emotional, and spiritual layers, allowing me to teach from a place of knowledge and lived experience. I later pursued additional training in Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga, which aligned with my passion for nervous system support and gentle healing. These slower practices taught me how to help students release tension and reconnect with themselves in a deeply grounded way. Together, my certifications allow me to offer a wide range of yoga experiences and meet people exactly where they are.

Set Intentions & Reflect

Yoga creates the space we need to pause, breathe, and turn inward, making it easier to connect with what truly matters. When we move with awareness, distractions fall away and our inner voice becomes clearer, helping intentions rise naturally from within rather than from pressure or expectation. Through breathwork, grounded movement, and moments of stillness, yoga invites us to listen to our body’s wisdom and choose what we want to cultivate in our lives. Setting an intention in practice becomes a gentle promise to ourselves—a direction, not a demand. Over time, these intentions begin to shape how we move, how we relate, and how we show up in the world.
